The first thing I got in my haul was another hair dye from Stargazer..this time in the color baby pink..
I love this brand of hair dye! The color always turns out exactly how it looks on the box, AND it stays in so much longer than most other semi-permanent dyes.  
 



Next, I got the gold plated hinged segment ring - 1.2x 6 mm
 They come in a lot of different sizes, but I wanted to use it in my septum, and I like my segment rings to be as small as possible, so the 6mm is perfect!! 

 

This is a 1.2x6 mm hinged segment ring, in the color rose gold
I will use this one in my septum when I wear my rose gold jewelry in my other piercings. The picture really doesn't do it justice either-it is absolutely beautiful !!

I got this one is two sizes- 1.2x8mm, & 1.6x8mm.

Facial Piercings: Before & After(care)

(Disclaimer: I am NOT a professional piercer, this is simply information I have collected by research and experience.)

 There are several things that you need to do in order for you to be prepared for a facial piercing,& to help lessen the pain & amount of blood that will occur.  Here are some things you need to do:

• Get plenty of  sleep and eat nutritious foods. This will help you to have enough energy.
• Don’t drink heavily before or during the procedure. It will thin your blood.
• Do not have the procedure if you are not feeling well .It will be harder for your body to heal itself .
• Make sure your face is clean, and do not wear a makeup.
• Caffeine and energy drinks will also thin your blood so avoid consuming these drinks 24 hours before the procedure.
• If you have some health conditions, make sure you visit your doctor first to get a clearance.

Here are some important aftercare procedures:

• Gentle cleaning must be done using saline solution (sea salt water soak) at least twice a day.
• An alcohol-free mouthwash should be used to rinse the inside of your mouth twice a day.(Or simply use the salt water solution)
• Wash your hands using antibacterial soap before holding/cleaning the area.
• It is normal for there to be a discharge(lymph), and it can be removed with a q-tip and saline solution. If the discharge is green, or has a strong odor, there may be an infection and you should consult a doctor. 
• If swelling and discharge is extreme, you can use tea tree oil . Simply apply it to the area with a q-tip. If it irritates the skin, it can be diluted with almond oil.
