Pink Himalayan Rose Body Scrub

This scrub smells and feels amazing and luxurious! Your skin will feel smooth and silky after using it !!
Not only is this a super easy DIY recipe, but the ingredients are so cheap!!(and most of us already have at least some of these ingredients in our kitchen!)
Coconut oil has so many benefits..not only is it ultra-hydrating and leaves your skin looking lustrous (but never greasy), it also has antibacterial and antiviral properties to help to prevent breakouts and heal wounds quickly.
Pink Himalayan salt is great at exfoliating and removing dead skin, plus it helps draw out toxins and cleanse.
Rose essential oil is a natural astringent that assists in toning, firming, and lifting the skin, and contains properties that help skin heal scars and stretch marks more rapidly.

INGREDIENTS
-1 Tblsp Coconut Oil
-2 Tblsp  Pink Himalayan Salt

-3-4 Drops Rose Organic Essential Oil

Simply whisk ingredients together with a fork for a ready-to-use scrub!

Store leftovers in an airtight container

Coconut Oil: Nature's Best Beauty Secret

If I could have only one skin/hair care product,it would be,without a doubt, coconut oil. It's naturally antibacterial and antifungal, it's an
excellent moisturizer, and unlike most oils, that sit on top of your hair, coconut oil actually absorbs, very quickly and very easily, deep into your hair.Mix coconut oil and olive oil together for a super-moisturizing face wash! You can use it as a shaving cream, You can mix it with baking soda for a nice, exfoliating face scrub, or mix it with sugar for a more abrasive scrub, for face or body. The best lip scrub I ever used was simply made of coconut oil and sugar! You can also apply it as a lip balm. Because it absorbs so fast, it doesn't feel greasy!!(and it tastes yummy!!).It is really good to use to soften your cuticles-warm it a little and soak your nails in it for a few minutes, then you can easily push your cuticles back! Use it to remove eye makeup- since it is antibacterial, if any gets in your eyes it won't hurt them!.It is wonderful to put on right after you shower! This stuff absorbs into skin and hair unlike anything I have ever seen, but leaves them so soft and moisturized. You can even use it to get rid of wrinkles !!(more on that below..)It truly is amazing stuff!!

When you go shopping for coconut oil, keep in mind that it is going to be in a solid form.
It melts easily in your hands, or you can put it in the microwave to warm up larger amounts.

Coconut oil has anti-aging properties!! As you age, your skin becomes less and less elastic. This is due to the fact that its collagen cells become less supple. The skin begins to dry up and forms creases. In order to get rid of wrinkles and fine lines, you will need to apply something that repairs the damaged tissue in the skin. This is where coconut oil is comes in.It restores moisture to your face ,helps to enhance collagen production, rejuvenates the skin cells in the epidermis, and attempts to restore its elasticity. Also, if your under eye wrinkles are caused by toxins in your blood, coconut oil will detoxify the area and help eliminate the crow’s feet, fine lines and dark circles under your eyes.

wrinkles around eyes before & after using coconut oil
You can find coconut oil in most grocery stores, in the baking aisle .In my store, it is on the shelf with the almond, sesame, and grapeseed oils.It is really cheap, considering how long a jar of it lasts(even when you use it for everything like I do!!)
Oh, and you can also cook with this oil-it is much better for you than other cooking oils, and tastes so good!!

So what are you still doing on your computer?? GO buy some now! If you find other uses for it, please post them in the comment section below!!
